About the 807 Club
|
The 807 Club started in the early 1970's with three members - Fred, K9MXG; Joe, WB9JOI; and George, WB9JOH. "Meetings" were held on Friday nights in the ham shack of K9MXG on King St. in Kokomo, Indiana. As time went on others joined the group.
The 807 Club became an ARRL affiliated club on May 20, 1975. The club met each week on Friday nights in the ham shacks of various club members. The 807 Club has continued this tradition but now meets each Friday night on the air, usually on 40 or 75 meters. This page is intended to provide information on the 807 Club and to preserve its history.
